A Profound Insight About Our Life Today!

From EddBSmith's Channel

The Paradox of our time:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers

Wider motorways, but narrower viewpoints

We spend more, but have less

We buy more, but enjoy less

We have bigger houses and smaller families

More conveniences, but less time

We have more degrees, but less sense

More knowledge, but less judgement

More experts, yet more problems

More medicine, but less wellness

We drink to much, smoke to much, spend to recklessly, laugh to little, drive to fast, get to angry, stay up to late, get up to tired, read to little, watch TV to much, and pray to seldom

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values

We talk to much, love to little, and hate to often

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life

We've added years to life, not life to years

We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor

We conquered outer space, but not inner space

We've done bigger things, but not better things

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul

We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice

We write more, but learn less

We plan more, but accomplish less

We've learned to rush, but not to wait

We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion

Big men, and small character

Steep profits, and shallow relationships

These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce

Fancier houses, but broken homes

These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill

It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom

A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side

Remember to give a warm hug to the one next to you because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a thing

Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it

A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again

Give time to love, give time to speak and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away

What is Truth

A day or so ago I was a witness to a conflict of words regarding this subject.
It was an eye opening experience. I looked at the history on this planet and thought ...That's the bottom line, that's the reason we have been warring with each other all this time;one persons perspective on truth verses someone else's.
One cultures idea of Truth being forcibly stuffed down another's culture throat often times ending in another cultures extermination. A total lack of Love and most importantly a limited literal understanding verses the ability to look beyond the words used to the connections below the images and the similarities.
(which is why I so love Quantum Physics)
The conflict of words regarding Truth reminded me of an article from an Elder and I will re-post it here.

What Is Truth?
By Robert Grey Hawk

Truth can be seen as two different things because we have Absolute Truth and Relative Truth. Absolute Truth deals with the Divine Principals, and Relative Truth deals with human thoughts and emotions.

They are created from different sources and have different definitions. When we are talking about things dealing with the Creator, we are talking about Absolute Truth, which is absolute, unlimited, unchanging, and complete. This would refer to the Ten Commandments, the Gold Rule, Judge Not, and Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself.

When we argue about human behavior, we are dealing with Relative Truth. . Relative Truth changes and is limited, incomplete, and definitely, not absolute. This is the cause of arguments, law suits, and wars

When you examine an event by running it through your filter to determine the response which would reflect the truth for you, it may not always be anyone else’s truth. One of the flaws of Relative Truth is that we don’t all end up at the same response, even when we begin with the same event.

In-fighting or community conflicts are good examples of living by Relative Truth. We rarely have all the information about what has happened, much less an understanding of why it happened. In fact, the people involved often realize that they don’t have all the facts, but for some reason, they keep fighting and defending their position and judgments.

We need to learn how to live in harmony We need to recognize that there are different aspects of truth, and allow others the benefit of the doubt, to understand that there are always more facts we may not have. While we often ask others for advice, we reserve the right to make our own decisions. Harmony is possible when we remember to offer that same courtesy to those around us.

“To know the truth is easy, but, ah, how difficult to follow it.” Rahel

~No indian name~& Imposed sterilization of Native American women~

The first time I heard this my heart dropped tears.
A powerful and tragically beautiful truth.
The genocide and governmental sanctioned extermanation of a culture.
My history on this planet is much like this song.
While I knew I was Native ...I was of mixed blood but my ancestors called to me in my dreams and my very DNA sang out loud.
It called me home to Manataka and to the good Red Road.
Although I was given an Indian name at birth and I have one now there were years I did not and was lost.

My Native heritage and everything I knew was disconnected.
One day I will tell the story but today is not the day.

This vid expresses so much of my life.
I honor here; those lost in the ongoing fight for our right to be who Creator made us to be.

Knowing is Not Learning, it is Remembering

From a story in the Manataka newsletter.
to view more wonderful things and read the story of Manataka go here

The night sky was as big, clear and open as I had ever seen. Shooting stars occasionally drew my eyes to a particular part of the galaxy as sounds of the night forest around us gave forth in a magnificent symphony of life. Tree frogs, crickets, the owl and other night creatures were singing their beautiful songs in unison with the swaying branches of the standing people. Grandfather Bear had wandered down off the sacred mountain sometime after midnight and now we sat by a small fire in the early morning dampness in the sacred circle at Manataka. He sat silently staring for a long while, maybe contemplating the vastness of the universe, or the intricate pattern on the box turtle at his feet.

As the fire settled down and its smoke was not more than a wisp floating upward, Grandfather looked at me and said,

"Knowing things does not come from learning things, it comes from remembering."

I started to offer a comment, but decided to let it ride to see where his line of thinking was going. After so many years of listening to his words, I learned to always wait for the other shoe to drop. Grandfather is a master of timing. That is, after presenting a thought or idea, he allows sufficient time to pass for the recipient to chew the bread before offering a moral of the story, a punch line, or a special lesson.

As we sat in silence, I noted to myself that Grandfather Bear is looking better these days. His breathing is longer and deeper after years of struggle with heart and lung issues acquired during the war. His color is good too, more tanned after an active summer. He grew a white beard over the summer. It is hard to tell if his moods are any better or not. He is a grumpy old bear. What more do you want?

He loves to sit in silence and in darkness at the sacred places of Manataka.

"God's voice is silence," Bear sometimes reminds us.

On this night, I hoped he might be more talkative. After an hour or more of sitting quietly, Grandfather signaled that he was ready to speak by giving me a quick glance and a nod. It is our habit to always talk eye-to-eye so I turned my body to face him. I took out my journal and wrote the date and time at the top of a blank page. Not everything Lee Standing Bear Moore says is written down. Whenever he holds up his left hand, it is a signal to stop writing. By the time I was prepared and settled down, he was using his cane to toy with a colorful carpet bag at this feet nestled next to a turtle. The bag is made from a rug with Indian design and holds all sorts of stones, herbals, tobacco, ceremonial medicines, necklaces and tiny effigies. Grandfather has never shown me what all is inside his bag, so I only know from seeing the things that are taken out and used on occasion.

"Knowing comes from a place deep within us," Grandfather Bear began.

"The Knowing is miraculous and instantaneous. It is old wisdom that remains inside us since the time of conception like tiny sleeping seeds. When it is needed by world, the seeds sprout giving birth to what seems to be a new idea or solution to a new problem but, in fact the seed comes from a long line or root of Knowing that is present at the time of our birth and long before."

Do you mean that humans are born with higher forms of knowledge that cannot be learned through the course of a lifetime?

"Yes and no. Yes, the Creator of All Things gives humans special forms of higher Knowing that is buried within the DNA and inside our souls and hearts -- that cannot be learned from another human. Other forms of knowledge can be learned by people who are given advantages of training, education, exposure, experience and spiritual orientation. The realization of the Knowing is locked within until it is remembered at the right moment in time."

What evidence is there to prove that humans have higher forms of knowledge within their DNA at birth?

"Clearly there is ample evidence to show that humans do not possess higher Knowing at birth. We are ignorant, helpless beings at birth. Until the invention of the Roman library in 500 BC and books that came along in 1041 AD man passed along very little information from generation to generation -- it appears that humans do not retain a great deal of information from one age to the next. A significant amount of information was passed along only when information was organized and a concerted effort was made to recall the information. Until the modern era, humans retained very little of their over-all experience after thousands of years of existence.

There is more evidence to prove the opposite -- that knowledge is only propagated from generation to generation by means of training and education and man has a memory not significantly longer than an ape. But, we are not talking about information or knowledge. We are talking about the Knowing -- and that is a different matter.

"All animals are born with instinctual gifts relevant to their environment and behavior. But, humans who may lack some qualities of in-bred instinct, possess at birth a Knowing that transcends mere instinct. On the bottom end of these Knowings are creative reasoning and conceptualization and moving up the scale is realization and spiritual knowledge.

There is ample evidence to prove the presence of these types of knowledge found deep within the human psychic at birth. Humans were given this knowledge by the Creator, it is transported and stored by the DNA throughout life and beyond to succeeding generations -- all without the necessity of training and education in these areas. It is a Knowing that all humans are given as a gift."

"The realization of this Knowing does not come for everyone at the same time. In fact, many humans never do reacquire the ancient wisdom within. Some will experience a only a quick flash of it at a critical moment in their lives. And a fortunate few will come to a point their lives where they have worked hard and climbed high to see past the veils of distraction and distortion and find the keys to opening the portals to remembering."

Moving past the veils of self (ego), social, psychological and environmental (worldly) distraction requires intense focus. Many times, this level of concentration or focus can only be achieved in a spiritual trance. We view this as a purification process, shedding one layer of the veil at at time, until clarity and purity of intent is achieved.

"Then and only then may humans realize, take possession and utilize the Knowing -- after remembering -- a process of calling up the ancient secrets of wisdom and placing them firmly in present consciousness. The Knowing cannot be learned from a book or other people. These things cannot be taught -- even by the wisest of spiritual elders. The Knowing can only be remembered."

Why do some humans live their entire lives without realizing the depth of the Knowing within themselves?

"First, it is a matter of distraction. We are distracted by the constant supervision of our parents, siblings, teachers, preachers, neighbors, friends and society in general who must and do teach us everything we need to know about everything. We are never taught how to remember because the assumption is that babies know absolutely nothing about anything. As young humans we are regimented to many varied forms and systems of training and education. Our heads are filled with information coming from other humans and never is the opportunity given for the child to simply absorb lessons of the environment and remember the depth and breadth of knowledge contained in the DNA. In this age of mass media and computer information, chances for a child to connect to their primal-self are nearly non-existent.

"Second, it is also a matter of orientation. We are never told there is this special Knowing within us. We are never shown ways to access this Knowing. Instead our heads are crammed with rules, regulations, do and don'ts, and the dogma and doctrine of many dead and dying generations. We are oriented to believe that the cup of our life began to be filled at the time of birth by other humans, and that is the direction we move for the rest of our days. How can one remember anything, if there is not a belief that Creator gave us special knowledge at the moment of conception? If we deny it exists, there is no way most people will ever begin to explore the depth of their memory and find the well of wisdom bequeathed by untold generations of ancestors before them.

"Third, it is also a matter of convenience and commitment. Most people are not motivated to discover things about themselves and the universe if the road to get there is not well lit. When they discover there are no short cuts or window shopping along the way, they balk like a mule. They want to know the pay-off in advance.

How do you remember the Knowing Grandfather?

"Oh my goodness. Becky Owl Woman often tell friends that Bear would forget his head if it were not attached. Bear does not remember things well. We do tend to forget things easily, including the dark events of the past and the darker side of people. Forgetfulness is a way of surviving for the Bear, so it is not such a bad thing.

You are teasing us now. You know what I mean. How are we to know how to remember the Knowing deep within us? Is there a technique or tool you use?

"There is a difference between what is learned and the Knowing. Things taught by humans are internalized, stored and processed by the brain in neat little electronic compartments. To access this type of information we use one or more levels or pathways of memory. There are useful recall techniques access this type of information. Cognitive and recall skills can be practiced and improved over time and neat little memory tricks such as mnemonic devices can be employed. For example, the word "HOMES" is a mnemonic device to help people remember the named of the five Great Lakes, Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior. But, the ways of recalling the Knowing are different.

The Knowing is something like intuition. That is, intuition is the ability to acquire knowledge without inference or the use of reason, but there is a vast well of Knowing that goes beyond intuition. Like the Knowing, intuition gives us ideas or thoughts that cannot be justified, but intuition is limited to the confines of human thought and reasoning and does not necessarily move beyond itself. However, it is said that intuition is a binder between human knowledge and higher spiritual knowledge and appears a flashes of insight and therefore moves freely between earthly world and the spiritual world in the same way of the Knowing.

The Knowing does not speak English, or any particular language. The Knowing are images and movement that are not easily translated. The Knowing is an understanding that flows like water or a cloud in the wind... therefore, we cannot use tricks on our self to remember. The Knowing is when our personal vibrations of movement, sound and color are in balance. Knowing is the connection, the sacred connection between our inner-being and the Spirits of the Creator. We do not control or decide when or what the Knowing will bring. It happens by Grace. It only comes to the surface of our consciousness after the flow is completed between the tiny seed within us and the power and spirit of the Creator.

How does the Knowing relate to American Indian beliefs?

There are many ways the Knowing is acknowledged among the people. Even though indigenous people are spread over thousands of miles from the South, Central and North, there are common ideas and a Knowing that we all possess. This Knowing tells us what is right and wrong. We did not need a written code of laws or a multitude clerics to preach to us. We know the Original Instructions given by the Creator to all races of mankind because they are embedded inside us as part of the Knowing . As tiny babies, we understand the Universal agreements of Creation and spend the rest of our lives living that reality. You can see the spirit of the Knowing contained in our ceremonies and daily lives. It is part of who we are as a race of people.

What is the Knowing, can you define it?

The Knowing is seeing the future. It is seeing the path and pointing the way. It is seeing time fold back on itself and reveal a disagreement that must be corrected. It is a deep wisdom that reflects the Universal agreements man has with all of creation. The Knowing is immediately accepted 'as is' because it is truth. When the Knowing begins to flow from somewhere deep within, there is an understanding that quietly flows upward in our consciousness and falls out in conversation.

What do you do with the Knowing?

We do not know most of the time what to do. We are grateful for blessing, regardless of how harsh or out of place it may seem, but we also know that it is acceptable and right to ask for help in being shown what to do.

Who do you ask?

The Great Mystery. The Silent One. The Creator of All Things. God of Heaven and Earth. We pray. We perform ceremony and pray some more. Yes, the Knowing comes from our ancestors in seeds planted within us thousands and hundreds of years ago, but it is only the Creator who can tell us how the Knowing is to be used.

Would you say you have the gift of wisdom and Knowing?

Grandfather Standing Bear looked from side to side, put a half-snarl on his face and began to rummage through his rug bag. After a while he looked up and said, "Nope, sorry we must have forgotten it at left it at home in my other bag."

Grandpa Bear then stood up, patted me on the shoulder and gave me a tiny object that I could not identify at the moment. As we walked along the path leading to the parking lot we passed under a lamplight and I stole a glance at the small object in my hand. I stopped and looked closer, but I still could not tell what it was. A small ring?

What is this Grandfather? I asked.

Smiling, Bear glanced at the object in my hand and said, "It is a gift from our friend the Turtle. He worked very hard on it the whole time we sat in the circle. With his strong jaws, he chewed and chewed on a broken lace from my moccasin until he fashioned this most beautiful gift -- a leather circle. It is part of his Knowing."

Words With Much Wisdom

When Life Becomes a Walk of Ego

By Debbie RedHawk Pulido

Living in a family offers many lessons. Sometimes you must take much care in how you choose your responses to another. It can have long lasting side effects.

So many power struggles in a family, why? We need to learn of our medicine and try to walk in it. It will give you a better understanding of our self and bring more peace.

We have covered ourselves in many false emotions that are controlling every step in our life with not so pleasant outcomes.

We cannot control others around us so we need to change our actions to get a more peaceful walk for ourselves.

Long ago we watched how the animal world lived and we patterned our lives after them. We saw that in order to survive there had to be communication between all. There was always one in the group who seemed to lead and the rest would follow. There was rank and file so to say but it was always done for the survival of all.

As man changed so did his intention of rank and file. He no longer started to lead out of survival but he began to lead with his ego. This left him open and vulnerable to the emotions of greed, jealousy, anger, feelings of entitlement just to name a few.

Man no longer led out of the best interest of others, he led to fill his own needs and wants. It is like this in many families.

There is no one set answer anymore. Man has become so lost in his own self purpose that he has put his ego before the structure of family.

My needs! My wants! My feelings! My priorities! In the process we lose what should be most important, ourselves. We become our egos. Our emotions rule us and it leaves us open to function not with a clear mind, now we respond with hurt, anger, jealousy, fear, hate and wanting what others have.

Now we can be hurt by another’s words because they touched on an emotion that has become important to us through our ego.

We start to judge our value in life and what is important to us not by Creator’s words but by what has become important to us.

We go so deep into our wants, needs and material things that we tend to get lost in the big, “I” “ME” “MINE” it is no longer a world of “YOU” “US” and “OURS”

What was once a walk of working together and sharing our survival has now become a walk of power struggles with many side effects.

41-Year Legacy of Mohawk Resistance at the Akwesasne Border

Kahentinetha MNN Mohawk Nation News

MNN. May 109, 2009. Over 250 Mohawks marched on May 8, 2009, against guns and violence at the U.S. - Canada border. Canada is militarizing all borders across Canada. Guards will carry Beretta 8 mm guns for a start on June 1, 2009. The safety of Mohawks and all border crossings in Canada are being jeopardized. The Akwesasne checkpoint is on a large island in the St. Lawrence River, in the middle of a highly populated residential area. It is the border-crossing from NYS to Cornwall, Ontario. The day-to-day security provided by an unarmed Mohawk security has always been enough.

We are the most policed people in the world. Almost 20 U.S. and Canadian enforcement agencies traverse our community. Canada has two alternatives: to peacefully operate on our land or to move the customs building and compound off the island.

After construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway and the International Bridge in the 1950s the customs station was placed on the island. We tried but could not stop it. A commitment was made that armed guards would never be put in the middle of our neighborhood, which we saw as dangerous for both Customs and Mohawks.

Mohawks have not fallen for this trap. Daily disagreements have been instigated against Mohawks who must pass through the checkpoint on a daily basis. There have been serious injuries, hospitalizations, charges and assaults. So far there have been no fatalities. There has been a steady increase in racial profiling and slurs direct at us sanctioned by Canada. Incidents are being provoked to justify armed guards.

Hundreds of complaints have been filed with the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, Canada Justice Department and the Canadian Human Rights Commission. No peaceful resolution has come forward.

In an August 2002 report co-commissioned by Transport Canada and the Mohawks, 70% of border crossers are Akwesasne Mohawks. It is adjacent to a bus stop for children, recreational fields, play area, large number of homes, the only convenience store, several small businesses and other features of a well populated and highly trafficked area. We need to visit our family and friends, get to work or school, attend health, social, cultural, recreational gatherings and shop or conduct business. Next to the customs children slide during the winter on the hills. People ride horses and walk in the open spaces. Children play volleyball, basketball and lacrosse. Recently the border patrol perpetrated a high speed chase where 3 people were burnt to death at the cross roads. Violence and death is their business!

Guns are for killing! They must be banned in this corridor. On Saturday, May 8th 2009, the Mohawks marched from the U.S. Port of Entry, across the Three Nations Bridge to the City of Cornwall. We called for a peaceful solution and a meeting with the Minister of Public Safety, Peter Van Loan, and the Mohawk representatives.

Grandmothers who marched at the “You are on Indian Land” demonstration in December 20, 1968, carried their grandchildren across the same bridge in 2009. They reminisced as they passed the checkpoint. One proudly looked in the face of the customs officers and said, “You’re not going to intimidate me. I have never lost my spirit to resist. I will stand my legal ground no matter what you do to me.”

Canada and U.S. are watching to see if we give up. We are one of the first groups to stand up to guns, brute force, harassment and attempts at totalitarianism. Friends from surrounding U.S. and Canadian communities honked their horns in support. U.S. policies are followed to turn Canada into an armed camp. We say, “No, you will not terrorize us, Americans and Canadians into submission on Great Turtle Island”.

Officers know we are a peaceful people. Customs officers need a reason to draw their guns and shoot us. We are being entrapped into defending ourselves. The result could be deadly. If we heard that, “someone was just shot at the border”, our families would pour out of nearby homes in minutes. Canada is setting up a scenario to justify cross-Canada martial law.

Mainstream corporate media did not cover this historic event. The real media are word of mouth, personal contacts of the people through phone calls, emails, communication between communities, friends and relatives around the world.

By law Canada must fully consult us and a majority of us must agree on whether anyone can set up an armed camp in the middle of our community. This is the law. They know we would not agree to this.

There are numerous similar crossings in highly populated areas. Canada cannot justify its actions in Akwesasne.

There is no history of violence in Canada against its citizens. In the U.S. most agencies are armed. At the U.S. border crossing numerous incidents of intimidation with guns, shootings and some fatalities have occurred. In Canada enforcement agents are also being taught to shoot to kill, whether we are armed or not and even if there is no reason to pull us over. Previously there was less corruption among government agents. Today they are being given a free hand to kill and to have guns to protect their illegal businesses as border guards. They can and are stopping us at their own discretion for no reason at all. They take us to confined areas where no one can see their cruelty. No surveillance equipment is inside to record their savagery. They’re getting away with murder!

A long time ago the Rotino’shonni:onwe Iroquois decided to stop conflict against our nations by burying our weapons of war. The colonists agreed to this. Their acts of aggression violate their agreement to live on our land in peace. In effect, they are being given a license to try to kill us with impunity.

Wisdom's Jewels

For Andrew and all the other Jewels who shine so bright!

Wisdoms laughter rings in melodic tones while she dances in the Cave of time
Wisdom dances among rare jewels that shine brightly and sing beautifully, resonating, reflecting Wisdom's song from within in perfect harmony
Rare sparkling jewels that absorb Wisdom's Beauty
Mirroring it in rainbow colors that dance upon the walls of the Cave of time
Wisdom stops for awhile and rests
Wisdom Ponders
Then Wisdom smiles while gathering up the rare sparkling jewels
Wisdoms jewels are now scattered throughout the Earth

On well worn but little walked paths Wisdom walks
She walks among the blind that see the world through distorted lens.
She walks and sings loudly a beautiful song that the deaf who hear do not perceive
Truth she speaks
This Truth is re-spoken in foolishness by those who are mute
Wisdom does not despair at the distortions of her Truth
She is looking for the divine jewels that fools overlook
The rare jewels she left for mankind oh so long ago
Wisdom's Rare Jewels hidden within the hearts of many who walk the Earth
Those rare jewels which resonate in harmony with Wisdom's melodic song
The rare jewels whose beauty is only seen by those who know Wisdom's name

Reflecting Wisdom's beauty- The Jewel is within the Lotus
Resonating Wisdom's song- The Jewel is within the Lotus
HU-mans thou carry the jewel within
The jewels within resonate a song Wisdom knows
All is One-One is All -It is Love

The Light and Sound of Creation vibrates with Wisdom's song in Rainbow colors
The song that can only be heard by those who hear with their heart
The light than can only be seen by those who look to see the jewel within
The power that can only be felt by those whose mind is free of religious chains
Those who know the power of Blessings
Those who vibrate with The call Of the Oneness

Those who live the Being of I Am

Music Of The Wolf and Elders Meditations

Below is a poem sent to me from a friend on Cherokee path
and some quotes from Elders Meditations from the Manataka newsletter.
Today is a good day to join Manataka and get your own monthly newsletter.

"Music Of The Wolf"

Night moon forever watching the earthen creatures padding through the night,
Stars that paint the world with ideas and truth,
Sky being that holds them all together,
Watch the wolf travel the land and carry his hymn through the night,
Wolf who walks in the night scared not of his shadow,
Wolf who always sees the path that is open even when it is dark,
Wolf who owns his place in the universe even when he travels the land,
Howl to the greatness of the night,
Plains that hold the life blood of the buffalo,
Mountains that provide homes to those in need of shelter,
Hills sharing the space in between the two,
Watch for the wolf as he approaches carrying his song through the day
Wolf who would listen,
Wolf who's leadership is also his harmony,
Wolf who's prowess encourages the young to grow,
Howl to the greatness of the day,
Winds that breath the wolf's howl to the world,
Trees that share the world with the animals,
Flowers that whisper when the wolf stops to smell the earth,
Watch the wolf as he binds the earth with sky in a single breath,
Wolf who holds friendship, loyalty, and love,
Wolf who preservers against the thunder,
Wolf who hunts when his brethren are hungry,
Howl to the the greatness of the world,
Ocean of blue and keeper of rain,
Streams that share the life flow of mother earth,
Rivers that weave the earth to the ocean,
Watch for the wolf as he sings his story for all to hear
Wolf who knows solitude is a friend to the soul,
Wolf who knows a glass pond is sometimes better walked around,
Wolf who knows... the beauty of your Spirit
Sing your music.

ELDER MEDITATION
"God is making use of you - you should be grateful He's found a use for you." --Mathew King, Lakota

The Creator can only create through human beings. Each human being has a purpose given to us by the Creator. We are on this earth to fulfill this purpose. Our only work is to make ourselves ready, to become a channel, to perform for the Creator. We prepare ourselves by prayer. We prepare ourselves by becoming unselfish. We prepare ourselves by seeking and choosing to walk on a spiritual path. Each morning we look to the east and we say an honor prayer to the Creator. We offer our gifts: tobacco and corn. We ask him to help us do His will for today. In this simple way, we still fulfill our purpose. It should be an honor to serve the Creator.

Great Spirit, today I am ready to serve You.

Walking In Beauty

I woke up this morning to the sound of thunder and rain on the roof.
As is customary of my morning ritual I stumbled to the coffee pot and poured my self a cup of the wondrous smelling wake -up drink and moved to my computer .
On my way to there I looked out my window and there on my birdfeeders were (as normal) lots of birds feeding .
What caught my attention is that they were feeding in the rain and celebrating the weather in song from the trees.
So as I drink my coffee I am breathing in the morning air from the open window and listening to life celebrate itself in joy.
A Native American ancient prayer goes through my mind in the midst of the birdsong.
Ancient whispers float through me and Soul says May You walk in Beauty.
I smile and as I am drinking my coffee and checking my e-mail I receive a phone call from a long time friend who has been struggling on her healing journey and struggling through this EarthWalk all her life. She is such a strong spirit with great courage.
She has called to thank -me. I say you are welcome but what have I done to be thanked for? She tells me she is thanking me for being there for her and listening -for all the times she says that I helped her through the years and most especially for the past year. She tells me that this last year has been such a dark one for her and that with-out me she would not have made it through.
We talk for awhile and we speak of the joy in life and how often we do not note the beauty.
It seems that the dark and loud painful things grab our attention blanking out the wonder of life.
We speak on how vital it is to re-empower ourselves by taking time to acknowledge the beauty in the world. For if we do not do this it will not be known.
We speak of how easy it is to let the world news, fear, past pains, ill health, and struggles with the world and life fill up our vision and cloud out everything else.
We speak about purity of heart and how that it is there every day, every moment but unless we recognize and acknowledge this by action and intent, Beauty remains unseen and unknown within our hearts.
We speak on how little things that we do daily are rituals/ceremonies,
like taking time to listen to the birds ,pet a dog, smile at a child ,receive a hug, take a bath, sit in candle light, say a prayer, being grateful for all the things we take for granted.
Moments like being able to have a meal or breath, or walk or smile,or dream.
These are very important things.
These are wonderous and how few people even notice or give credit for those things. We ponder why and I say -I think perhaps it is because Beauty is not loud.It simply is and is always present waiting for us to recognize it and acknowledge it in our day. Pain and crisis are loud voices-these elements of life require Beauty to balance and often the only action we need to take is the called the art of doing with out doing -more clearly accepting love where ever it is given from life-being grateful for it and acknowledging the beauty that is. In this way we bring balance to our selves.
I say that it is vital to health and to our emotional well being to take the time daily to reconnect to the beauty in the world -to give it a place of honor within our hearts and without in life. I remind her that she is in control of what she lets into her life-Every day I tell her -turn off the TV,radio, clear ur mind and just listen to life talking, create a space where You can hear life being beautiful, hear it's song. When you feel overwhelmed tune out the chatter of people and go re-establish that connection with life's song in whatever way works for you.
I tell my friend that it has been my honor to walk with her on her Earth Walk and I remind her that she is also a part of the beauty of creation as we all are.
We say good -bye and I sit in quite reflection drinking my coffee and watching the birds play. I am hearing the wind in the trees, rain on the roof, the smell of the rain and Earth and I lift my voice to the world spirit, heart singing, Thank-You Creator - I am accepting the Blessings You have sent me on this Beautiful day You have made for me.
May You walk In Beauty.

Calling All Rainbow Warriors

2012 & Beyond, Rainbow Warriors the Stars are Calling

By Bruce Fenton, April 2009

For centuries the peoples of the Americas have expected the coming of a warrior generation. They knew that the eagle’s claw of European civilisation would inflict terrible torments on their own communities.

This was an horrendous experience but one that many accepted as part of the process of man’s journey. It was a very grave sacrifice that would one-day lead to an upsurge of compassion and global renewal.

For my own part my ancestors were amongst those who suffered most. It is easy to cry picturing my forbears of the Arawak tribes suffering genocide. It is equally painful to picture my African slave ancestors toiling to the whip under the harsh Caribbean sun. This horror was all perpetrated to profit a tiny few families seeking to feed the European craving for sugar in their tea.

The suffering of other indigenous communities continues all over the globe. Unseen tribes are burned alive in the Amazon so that they won’t hamper the expanding of farms for our Soya and cattle. Island nations suffer the pollution of their shores by our waste. Minority indigenous populace are still being marginalized and stripped of their land rights and voices. Their histories are erased from textbooks and their knowledge kept from mainstream global thought.

Sadly first contact with these peoples was often accompanied by orders to destroy any evidence of their being civilised and intelligent. Kill the chiefs, kill the wise, kill the history keepers, kill the story tellers burn all the evidence of their achievements.

The methodology was very obvious. There would be far greater up-cry from the average European citizen if they realised cultures as advanced as their own were being put to the sword or enslaved for profit. They could easier accept the stories of sub-human creatures to stupid for anything but cheap labour.

The consensus reality we inhabit seemingly always leaves some space for energetic renewals. After a forest burns the shoots of new life grow faster and stronger than ever before. This is why the remaining knowledge from some of the devastated human communities around the world has now exploded outward. Where the soil of the soul was stripped bear is where we should expect the most powerful push toward a brighter tomorrow.

The prophets and visionaries of many tribes saw not only the devastation to come, but also the positive potential it would activate in mankind. Casting their view forward by such means as they had developed in their mystery traditions they noted likely futures. In an extraordinary case of mass synchronicity dozens of separate tribal peoples noted visions of a coming special generation. The time of their arrival would be made clear by certain destructive global events.

There are then many versions of this particular prophecy. It has even inspired such things as the environmentalist movement Greenpeace's naming of a ship. as well as musicians and artists. It is known as the Prophecy of the Rainbow Warriors. This is just one telling as ascribed to the 19th century mystic Eyes of Fire a wise-women of the Ininiwok peoples, commonly known now as the Cree Indians:

The sky is clouding, the grass is fading,
People in anguish, the dark is rising.
The Earth She writhes beneath the claws
of the minds that are poisoned

Her children tossed on the waves
of cruel desire and corruption
It could be you, don't shrink away
from the need of the hour

Don't turn away from the hand
stretched in pain of your Mother.
Her name means freedom, Her body earthgreen,
Her blood clear water, her voice is birdsong.

The Earth cries out, can't you hear,
take your courage in hand now.m
Our deeds must speak of the love for all beings
waxing strong now

We can't allow the heartless ones
to destroy this great wonder
Slaughtering wales, felling trees,
with no thought for the future.

Here rule the demons, they love no creature,
Their words are poison, they weave dark futures.
A-a-a-a-ah
A-a-a-a-ah

Gather all ye who love the world
from distant lands beneath the tall sky
In visions past I have seen you awake the spirit moving

Gather all ye who love the world
from distant lands beneath the tall sky
In visions past I have seen you awake the spirit moving

And now the wind is shifting, the tide is turning,
The mist is rising, a rainbow forming

Rainbow warriors, the stars are calling
Rainbow warriors, the trees are falling
Rainbow warriors, the spirit dying,
Rainbow warriors, the world is crying out in pain.

And I shall never rest in peace till this cruel reign is ended
And all the children of the Earth shall be free,
Her wounds all mended.
Your time has come, make the Earth green again,
don't delay now.

Victory has been foreseen for the people who do.
Rainbow warriors, create new Eden,
Clear rain a'falling, blue sky unending,

Unfearful faces, starlight revealing,
Small creatures dancing, glad voices singing,
Free children playing with chains that are broken,

Rainbow warriors, the future lies within your hands.

The prophecy has a powerful resonant effect upon all of us awakening human beings. We see clearly the very signs for the fulfilment of its message. I know that just about every time I have read this over the years I ended up in tears. Yet within was a solid knowing that this was the purpose of my time and that I to was invited to take up the banner and contribute to the healing process. It has been the driving force behind my own work for a decade and I suspect many environmentalists, writers, researchers and spiritual speakers would likely echo that sentiment.

The prophecy is very clear that it is not talking about a coming generation of American Indian people alone. People from all the distant lands beneath the tall sky are welcomed to pitch in. Every colour in the human rainbow family is fully invited to lend a hand.

Ininiwok/Cree: There would come a time when the "keepers of the legend, stories, culture rituals, and myths, and all the Ancient Tribal Customs" would be needed to restore us to health, making the earth green again.

Ininiwok/Cree: The Rainbow Warriors would show the peoples that this "Ancient Being" (the Great Spirit), is full of love and understanding, and teach them how to make the "Earth or Elohi" beautiful again.

Patricio Dominguez, Pueblo: The ancestors said that... there would come a time when the Earth would become very sick. Because of this unrelenting greed of the new culture, the Earth would be filled with deadly liquids and metals, the air would be rendered foul with smoke and ash, and even the rains, which were intended to cleanse the Earth, would plummet in poison drops. Birds would fall from the sky, fish and would turn belly up in the waters and whole forests would begin to die.

Patricio Dominguez, Pueblo: 'Under the symbol of the rainbow, all of the races and all of the religions of the world would band together to spread the great wisdom of living in harmony with each other and with all the creations of the Earth. Those who taught this way would come to be known as "the rainbow warriors". Although they would be warriors, they would carry with them the spirits of the ancestors, they would carry the light of knowledge in their heads and love in their hearts, and they would do no harm to any other living thing. The legend said that after a great struggle, using only the force of peace, these rainbow warriors would finally bring an end to the destruction and desecration of Mother Earth and that peace and plenty would then reign through a long, joyous and peaceful golden age here on Mother Earth.'

Lee Standing Bear Moore, Manataka American Indian Council: Among the few who possess inner strength to resist the mass unconsciousness will rise a new neo-indigenous people. Prophecies foretell of a people who will rise from earth's ashes like the thunderbird, symbolizing rebirth. They will bring balance and harmony back to Mother Earth. The first of these beings will come as teachers and storytellers to remind us of ancient truths of the star people and beyond. They will be pathfinders leading the way to a new universe, a new reality.

Lee Standing Bear Moore, Manataka American Indian Council: Great leaders, Warriors and Shamans of many nations will be born and they will cleanse the earth for rebirth. Next will come the Planters sowing seeds of truth, justice and freedom. The Storytellers, Warriors and Planters will live in the way of the Great Spirit and teach ways to keep Mother of the Ground sacred forevermore. They will be called Rainbow Warriors for they will gather the four sacred directions, all distinctly separate but forever connected in the Circle of Life.

Rather than post every single discussion on the prophecy and each unique variation I will trust the message is clear enough. In this time of social and environmental degradation the Rainbow Warriors represent the forces destined to turn back the tide. With no central church or set of beliefs and no fixed religion or dogma it is prophecy open to all.

In fact few Rainbow Warriors even refer to themselves as such in conversation. Being a Rainbow Warrior is a truth best kept alive inside the heart. Amongst the Rainbow Warriors are people who may seem more correctly Buddhists, Hindus, Spiritualists, Christians, Alchemists, Pagans and myriad other spiritual seekers of every path imaginable. Though some spiritual beliefs may differ the cause at hand is one with them all.

So many other prophecy have come to fruition in our times that it may not be so shocking to discover we came here knowing what we were to face. As the calendar of the Maya ticks down we all feel a sense of trepidation and excitement for the future. Rainbow Warriors feel the call to perform the required tasks. For those recently awoken these tasks include:

Sharing information and experiences that may help wake any still slumbering brethren.

Peacefully bringing down the corrupt regimes holding sway over our beautiful mother earth.

Freeing us from the yoke of financial enslavement by ending the central banking system.

Eradication of the mass marketing of perpetual materialism.

End obsolescence by design and return to the ‘built to last’ mentality.

Bring an end to any wholly unnecessary slaughter of innocent creatures of the air, sea and land

Prevent any further devastation of the few remaining tropical rainforests and ancient woodlands.

Provide time and opportunity for each being to explore self-contemplation, self-development and spiritual leanings in line wit their own core voice. Certainly as vital to health and happiness as time for education or time to forge a career.

The Rainbow Warriors are certainly not a new cult or religion. There is no fixed list of characteristics and any necessary specified aura colour, skin colour or spiritual faith. There is no fixed year from which we can say they first began to appear on the planet or when they will have finished arriving. Certainly there is no requirement for any special lines of products, diets, schools or doctrines.

Though some number do have psychic abilities or spiritual experiences already under their belt these things are open to anyone interested in attaining them. The only requirements are caring about the future of all living things and having an interest in development of a deeper connection to the web of life itself.

Don't turn away from the hand
stretched in pain of your Mother.
Her name means freedom, Her body earth green,
Her blood clear water, her voice is birdsong.

Rainbow warriors, the future lies within your hands.

2012 is Coming

This is an article from the Manataka newsletter regarding 2012-I am giving the
link to Manataka here :Please visit

By Patti Blue Star Speaks Burdette:

It is a great idea to get ready for what is to come. I want to read the Hopi elders thoughts on the subject of 2012, though I cannot imagine them putting their thoughts on the Internet. Regardless, I will put into the universe that we will manifest this explanation.

I read the 5th Night Prophesy and how it affects our lives. All this information is wonderful. Not so we can be afraid of what is to come, but to be ready in our own spirits. I think the difficulties that will come will be in the spirit. The information is out there, we just have to reach for it.

What I have been hearing is we need to start, or should have already started, to realize those who will be aboard are already working towards new levels of spirituality. Those who are dragging their feet, or just do not want to do the hard work that it takes to be on new levels of spirituality, are going to always be right where they are now. We need to go on and let those people be. We must be responsible for ourselves for being ready and contribute to the greatest good for the greatest number. No longer can we drag along those that would drag us back into a lower level simply because we do not want to leave them behind.

Being a Rainbow Warrior is going to be a tough job. We will survive what is to come. How we survive will be the beauty. I want to be in a better world. What is better will be what is best for all Creation. Some people will not be able to get past the collapse of government and material society.

The Blue Star has always been there in the heavens. The good in the universe has always been there. We have always had the choice to use the information that has been gifted to us to do wonderful things for all of Creation. We as humans chose to take the easy way and use it for what is good for a few at the expense of Mother Earth. Mother Earth has begun to fight back. She has let us have our way, though it was not a good way.

The Grays have given us the illusion that we can have all the technology to better our lives. But, it was just enough to condemn us to slavery. The Grays wish to enslave us and have done a good job of selling their ideology to us. Today, we think we cannot live without material things.

The Blues allowed this to happen with the hope that humans would embrace what is good. I believe it is not too late to do the right thing. If we pray and listen to the still voice within, it will lead us in the right direction -- to the Blue Path. All we have to do is listen. We must take ego out of the situation and admit we are wrong. We must begin to change our own small environments and expand it to all the world. We must look past our little planet and look into the Universe for help. The Blue Star is there for us. It will be hard work for some. Or, it can be as easy as doing the right thing at the right time.

I thank Manataka for sharing this and Patti Blue Star for writing this.
I share it here in the spirit of Notsocommonsense

2012 is NOT the End!

Ok I am tired of hearing the gloom and doom regarding 2012 .
Every where I turn someone is "predicting the end of the world".
I want to stand and scream CUT IT OUT!! YOU ARE SCARING THE KIDS!
They are using Nostradamus and the Mayan Calender, along with the Bible to point a finger and say LOOK!! SEE ! There it is! -End of the world,Last days, The Apocalypse!
These doomsayers are spreading fear and outright deceptive lies based on pieces or portions of things that they do not understand.
The only destruction we are facing is the one we have created for ourselves.
That being said that means we have the power to change it.
We are not facing a cosmic destruction from someones idea of God.
We are facing a choice in the quality of life that our children and their children's children will have on this Earth.
Humanity is evolving and THAT is the promise of 2012.
Our earth is going through great cataclysmic changes RIGHT NOW!
Look around at the floods, Violent weather changes, volcano eruptions, droughts, mass specie dye off, radiation, poisoning of our water ways,Oceans, and land.
Humanity is ill with what would be called in olden days plagues. (Aids, and ever more severe flu's and viruses)
All these cataclysmic Earth changing things are happening NOW and we are still here.
I am not saying our planet is not in trouble , it is, but by being the change we wish to see in the world,we can and will heal it.
I am here to interject some NotSoCommonSense into this discussion.
Below You will find a series of links on this matter and a Video.
Please watch, read and arm yourself with some notsocommonsense..

Excerpt from the article linked below:
Drunvalo Melchizedek - Flower of Life

But because of something I cannot quite explain about who we are becoming and about ourselves and our ability to control our reality as a planet, we may find that the environment, even though the poles may shift, may not be nearly as violent as we think. It could actually be a very beautiful experience.

The poles will shift and NOT cause the Earths end and they could very well shift in a quite way.

Below is an excerpt from http://www.armageddononline.org/nostradamus.html

"As for the end of the world... Nostradamus predicted it to be the year 3786 or 3797 depending on which Nostradamus expert you believe.
Although people keep claiming that "it's the world will end" they often ignore other prophecies he wrote. Nostradamus NEVER said the world would end in 1666, 1999, 2012, 2096, or any of those years. In fact, he was quite clear we would survive through all of these other conflicts, and if we took it upon ourselves, we could change / prevent what was indeed going to happen.'

We Are One World - a message from A Mayan Elder

A message from
The International Mayan Leagueby Elene lxcot
Mayan culture, the Mayan cosmos vision and the respect that exists between Mother Nature, humanity is a delicate balance between all living things. Today people are worried and alarmed by all of the natural disasters that are devastating the world. On the news, we hear more and more about natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, droughts and floods destroying entire communities and killing people in its wake. People are looking for explanation to these natural disasters and especially how it will affect the future of the planet and humanity. In some cases, people are going as far as to believe that the end of the world is coming and even offering heaven as a reward for those who are willing to repent for their sins. There are many ways of looking at these natural phenomena. Some people look to technology to try to explain and prevent these evils. But they nor others will be able to explain these natural disasters if they do not take the time to study the ancient life of those who originally inhabited these lands and compare their way of life with that of today. I look at the things we have learned from these early civilizations, especially the Mayans. In the Mayan thought, we are taught at a very young age to live in union with nature and the cosmos. Our history tells us that we were created from corn and that we are people of corn. From white and yellow corn our ancestors were created. It is said four animals: the bobcat, the coyote, the crow and the parrot showed our ancestors where this corn was kept; this place was called Paxil and Cayal. Our sacred book the Pop Wuj, states that for the corn to exist, it needed Grandmother Earth, Grandfather Sky and Grandmother Moon, the stars, the wind and the rain and clouds; elements which are crucial to all living things. But many ask, well, what does this have to do with what is happening in the world. This is where we find some of these explanations and perhaps, help for the future of the cosmos and Mother Nature to detain these natural phenomena. The philosophical thoughts of our grandparents have many times been ignored and rejected. Often it has been called pagan, superstitious and witchery, as a way to discredit and put European thought in the front page of many anthropological and archeological books. We are not saying that the life of our grandparents was the best because they were practicing a way of life in accordance with their time, but we cannot compare it with this life today; the special era or modern life. From the beginning of our civilization, which dates back more than 100 centuries ago, our grandparents structured a balanced life between humanity and nature. Every boy and girl born was connected to nature and the cosmos. The child was taken to the community elder, expert in reading the Maya calendar, so that the parent's would know the spirit protector of the child. This reading served to mark the future of 'the baby. Every day is important in the calendar of our ancestors. Each day is marked with something special, negative or positive. For example, there is a special day for those who belong to the fauna and flora, animal kingdom, and the mineral kingdom. Therefore, the calendar was used to determine which day belonged to the child. Lets say that the day was marking the day of the pine tree. This meant that when the child grows up, he or she has the task of taking care of the pine trees because the tree is his/her spirit protector; in this way many pine trees are protected. The same goes for the rabbit, many rabbits are protected and the same applies for the water. This way everyone had the task to keep the water, the trees, the animals, and the cosmos clean. But what happened with the arrival of the Europeans to these lands? Everything changed. A foreign culture was imposed on us. The Catholic Bishop Diego de Landa burned our sacred and scientific books in 1560.Furthermore, the elders and guides of our people were hung and burned alive, and the survivors were enslaved. The land that was of communal service became private property of the Spaniard descendants. The invaders profaned the ceremonial centers.

The scientific studies done to protect the cosmos, nature and the earth were cut short. The new people from Europe began to implement a new way of living that was foreign to our way of living and doing things. They began to cut down trees, kill the animals, and contaminate the air and rivers. In the process, the delicate balance between humans, the natural environment and all living things was lost.

Based on research done by our ancestors, there are certain cosmic changes that take place in space more 'or less every twenty-five thousand years. These changes take place five times within the cosmic cycle of 5,126 years. During these changes, the magnetic field of Father Sun changes direction and it affects the circular motion of Mother Earth. Because of this, floods, storms, fires, earthquakes and hurricanes take place. However, our ancestors knew ways of calming Mother Earth so that she would not suffer because of these cosmic changes. Their method was keeping the water, air and earth clean. Our ancestors believed that if the sun and earth were in crises or suffering, humans should not worsen the situation. On the contrary, it is our responsibility, they would say, as part of that delicate balance to help and maintain that equilibrium so that there would be fewer natural disasters. Along with keeping the earth clean, our ancestors held ceremonies to the creators and makers by fasting, burning incense, and dancing.

Their way of thinking and visualizing the existence of the universe is different from what we see today. You are all witnesses as to what the "civilized" world is doing in the world especially in promoting wars, in which bombs are used. Guatemala, for example, is one of these countries that experienced 36 years of war. In the highlands of the country, Napalm bombs were thrown which sterilized many acres of land, burnt many mountains, contaminated many rivers and killed off many animals. This was an attack that was not only directed at human lives but also at all living things.

It is unthinkable that humans are attacking the very bases of their existence. Many of us believe that the earth does not feel any thing and that it is not alive. If this is the case, where do the fruits, vegetables and the grains that we consume come from? Even cars and machines run with the blood of the earth in the form of petroleum.

If we include tons of rubber tires, and plastics burned, and oil spills in the ocean, this has contributed to the contamination of the earth, the water, and the cosmos. This did not exist in the times of our ancestors. But let us not go way back. For example thirty years ago, when we were younger, in our town we did not know plastic bags, because everything that was sold in the market was wrapped in banana leaves, sugar, salt, meet, soap, coffee, rice, beans, chili, etc. Everything was wrapped in a leave called maxan. When the mother arrived home from the market, she used the leaves to cook tamales by wrapping corn dough in the leaves and steam it or give the leaves to the horses to eat. Therefore, nothing was left to dirty the earth, much less to contaminate. But when we went to Guatemala to visit in March and April of 1999, we had a tremendous surprise. We saw mountains of trash in the outskirts of town, and the majority of the trash was plastic. We thought it was only in our town but it was the same in the neighboring towns.

We saw how the contamination is having a negative effect on the lives of the people, especially on the lives of the children. The children are fragile and are easily exposed to all kinds of hot, it evaporate the contents of the bags and mosquitoes carry germs from the garbage into the homes. The mountains of garbage cause many children die from diarrhea, cholera, fever and many other diseases.

All of this is called, "modern life " the new ear of technological advances. But the thought of the first habitants of these lands are categorized as a life that is backwards and old. Nevertheless, our ancestors breathed pure air, drank clean water, and ate healthy food. Not like you hear and read in the newspapers that the Japanese have started selling pure air in Mexico. Water has been sold for many years. Now we only have to wait for someone to sell us the sun and moon.

In "the times of our ancestors, the guides educated the community to take care of everything around them. "They said, everything that happens to Mother Earth, the same will happen to the children of the earth.

That is why in the Mayan vision the prediction of the apocalypse does not exist. The future of our existence is connected to the care of the environment. That is why it is important to go to the past to understand the present. Those who do not want to go to the past will not have a future because the present that we live in does not offer much for what is to come. It is the present that cut the development of one of the biggest civilizations, of men and women who were scientists. The West brought the present that we live in.

You will notice all the disasters that we are suffering, happenings of the present brought to us 500 years ago. The humans of today will have the last word, will we continue with the present or will we fight together to save the air, the rivers, the earth, and the trees so as not to hurry the cycle of the cosmos with the contaminations.

This is what is happening with the universe and the world. The sun for the Mayas is like the cosmic head that goes around guiding the astrals that is why they used it in the ball game. When the ball is in action it means the cosmos in constant movement, at ' the same time it means the movement of the world around the sun. Therefore, all that exits in the world and in the cosmos moves, including humans. The human brain, the heart and all parts of the human body move. This is the greatness of the cosmos the world and life. If there were no movement, there would be no evolution, the world and the cosmos would be paralyzed and humans would not have evolution in life. This is what we have learned from our ancestors.

Chaos Appears Rushing

Something I wrote a bit back wanted to share it here.
Hope you enjoy

Spin around once
life goes rushing by
thousands of choices
in a twinkling
demanding your eye

Dawn till dusk
dreams till wake
chaos appears rushing
choice in a moment
truth or fake

We set our watch
calenders we mark
living times illusion
seeing only fragments
of divine spark

Life's song sings
calling you here
Chaos becomes creation
awareness of birth
joy's silent tears

Heart opens wide
doubt fades away
wisdom is freedom
grace in being
love's new day

Gods voice within
sound and light
wisdom power freedom
all is one
third eye sight

Dream the world
now and here
Isness the function
life the dream
banishing the fear

Rainbow spirit singing
truth you see
Dancing with joy
truth you are
Blessed and free

When Money is God

We as a society are consumed with Money. The world is consumed with getting more money. We never seem to get enough of it.How many of us think about money or the lack of it in some form most of the day?Money seems to rule the world.Countries go to war over the acquisition of more money. Our safety and well being as a society is measured by how much money it will take.Children are sold into slavery for money.People sell drugs as a quick way to get a lot of money.(the real reason for the drug trade)People all around the world starve for the lack of money to get food.People die because they lack money for good health-care ,education,or the things that can make them or keep them healthy.People have been tortured so that others may keep money and therefor keep the power it infers .People kill others over Money or the lack thereof.People in government are always talking about who and what they believe in.They fight wars and torture and abuse people horribly over whose God is the true God.If a society is wealthy they say their God approves of their culture and the way they got their money. They pray to their God/Goddess to get more money so that their "needs?" can be met. When a natural disaster hits we measure it's power damage by how much money damage it caused and how much money it will take to rebuild it.We are at war right now in this country over money and the world is ruled by corporations whose only job is to acquire more money. They claim it is so that the world can be a better place but in order to do this they have to have more money. How to get it what to do with it and how to keep from losing it is all they ever think about. We get up everyday and go to work for the soulless corporations to have more money. We fight wars so that Capitalism and our interests overseas(money) will be protected,We support the stock market which gives those whose only thought is money more power. We buy goods from strangers who would and have sold their souls to/for money.Tell me when all one ever thinks about is money ,how to get more, how to keep from losing what you have, how to acquire more to get more ect. -doesn't that make money your God?These people you vote for or allow as rulers over you -would you say they have lost their soul? They claim they are Christian but the god they worship is money and the power it gives them over you.Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all else will be added unto you.It did not say seek ye first money and all else will be added unto you.How much is enough? How much money does one Billionaire need? Why are we supporting them and their ability to get more? Why are we not supporting those that have less?We give our money to Walmart, and other name brand companies while the Mom and Pop stores go out of business. We give our money to Corporations that fund the wars on this planet. We listen to the lies of the advertisers who work for corporations, tell us what we need ,brainwash our children, and let us know we are lacking. did you know you were lacking till they told you?We support these soulless corporations in the mistaken belief that we are supporting the only jobs while we let those who work for themselves in our neighborhoods go out of business because a corporation can do it cheaper. These corporations pollute our planet, refuse to go green ,steal our natural resources ect. Why? Because of money and their greed for it and the power it confers,Money is their God.Money is a politicians God.We hear the politicians words and he/she has a PR group whose only goal is to get paid by advertising and getting this person elected for money to an office that will make them more money. They tell you what they know you want to hear and you are surprised that they once in office lied? What are your real needs and are they met? do you have a roof over your head?are you fed, clothed, and have a bathroom? Are you warm when it is cold, cool when it is hot,and in general protected from the elements?Do you have a car, or some way to get around, a job, or some source of income? Then count your blessings your needs are covered and when you pray to your Creator for more -be aware that your creator may not use money as the way for the more to come.Support those whose only intention is to provide for the needs of their family.Barter or trade- take the money you have and give it to those who have not sold their souls to the money God.It may cost more up front but in the long run you have saved much for not everything can be measured by the dollar.By doing things like this and becoming more self sufficient and getting by with less you will be sending a clear message to the soulless corporations that states loud and clear --no longer will you support them and their soul stealing Money God

Why I Choose Organic Food

Does anyone know what is in our food that 's not labeled organic? There are things in the ingredient list I cannot pronounce!I need a dictionary or wikipedia just to know what I am eating !FDA certified does NOT set my mind at ease! They have not been doing too good of a job lately. They seem far too interested in whether or not a natural substance or a vitamin can cause me harm.Excuse me?Organic food is supposed to mean the way nature made it.Organic means free of pesticides.Pesticide free is a good thing as far as I am concerned.I simply am not comfortable when the FDA or some food corporation says this:"The levels of pesticide in foods are not highenough to cause a problem to human health."Now they usually say this in regards to a SPECIFIC food. Here is an example, lets talk about mercury in tuna or our seafood. The FDA says DON"T WORRY it's only a little bit of mercury,It's not enough to cause someone harm. Then they said this Don't eat tuna but once or so a week.Excuse me?I began to wander the grocery isles thinking what is on this food, or how much pesticide is on that food, and what happens when we eat them all together?Does this stuff sit around for days in my cells or does my body store this stuff in my fat cells? Is what went in my body yesterday from the foods I ate gone now or is it still hanging around somewhere? What about all the other chemicals in all the other stuff I use everyday?Lets see;there is perfume, house cleaners ,shampoos, laundry soap, bathroom cleaners and the list grows.I am concerned one day it will be like the mad scientist chemistry set.One to many strange unknown ingredients and my body will go boom and start to break down. The people from the FDA say that cannot happen but we have no long term research for many of these things that they put on or in the food that we eat. What about all that other stuff I just said? Most of these things have only been around twenty or so years.SOOO how do they know?Lets see; since pesticides and chemicals have been introduced into our bodies the cancer rate per 1000 people has skyrocketed. This information comes from the American Cancer society. Of course that's not the words they use .I did not need them to say anything their graphs data says it all .The Cancer rate per 1000 people over the last 20 years or so has increased enormously. That's about the same amount of time they have been adding strange non-food things to our foods along with new pesticides. You know what?I do not have the time to sort all of that out-I have Kids to feed, a house to clean, errands to run ,and laundry to do.I read that organic grown food has a higher nutrition content. so lets see pure real food ,organic label ,no worries ,verses normal store bought food and suddenly I have worries.I think I will just choose simple and non complicated.I do not need wikipedia while I look at the ingredients list. That means all I have to do is choose a organic label. It's good for the environment, good for me,good for my family. It's a win,win situation. That organic label is very important. That organic label means one less complication in my life. There are enough complications in my life without worrying over what I am eating.
Things that make one go HMMMMM.Where is God ?What a great question! This is a question that has puzzled and confounded humanity for as long as there have been minds to ponder it.People have argued over this question, fought wars over this question. This question automatically inspires other questions. If there is a God; what is his or her name?Does God have a gender? If so does He /She/It care about me?Just what is God anyway?Where is God?If God exists does God want something from me?If so What? Can we communicate with God?How?If God spoke to us would we know? Many people think God is a deity that lives in a far away unseen place.Cultures from around the world have named Gods abode. Then they argued over it .They argued over name ,placement, and what it should/would look like.Humans have built Temples, Churches, raised monuments, created sacred spaces, and altars in an effort to connect with God.One thing is certain God is something that humanity believes very strongly in.Many feel that God is within each of us and all of Life. They believe God is watching over all things determining the course and causes of humanities world.Others swear God needs appeasement in some form .They feel that if God is appeased. It will feel honored and not create havoc with their lives.People have been so afraid of their God's wrath that if another culture believes in a God in a different manner, then that culture must be converted or be extinguished ,so that they would not incur Gods wrath upon their loved ones and community. They believe plagues, famine ,droughts, and all natural disasters are caused by God being displeased.Every religion ever created on this planet is about a method used to contact a divine deity people will call God.Every religion firmly believes they know where God lives. They believe that they and they alone have the only "true understanding" of the Nature of God and where He/She/It is.We have now arrived back at our point of origin. The question of all questions where is God?I do not know !Do You?I am sure that many will try to tell me what some book has said or what someone told them. But to those people I ask this question. What is your personal experience of Gods home? You know where He/She/ It lives?Point God out to me please. Can you show me where God Is?There is a group of people who will swear that there is no God .Scientist say all life is just a series of chemical reactions and called God science.Scientist thought this was pretty cool till they got to the quantum level then they had to re-evaluate everything they had ever known.Life again became a wonderful mystery. They discovered It was all connected by thought.Something with intelligence ,a sense of beauty and perfect math seemed abundant in all things.Dare they call that intelligence God?Personally for myself; I think I will just know that something wonderful created us all.Native Americans call it The Great Spirit.I call It Creator and I see it everywhere I look.I will follow My Elders statements and walk the path for myself, bothering no one else's.I will just live in harmony with the wonder around me,treating all life as if It was a good friend.I will follow my own heart .No dogma for me, I do not need it.I think I will just enjoy unraveling the mystery.Where ever God is I am quite certain of this one fact:It will let me know where it is; if I am listening.Oh by the way: Creator your handiwork is magnificent!
